The Russell Scientific Copper Rain Gauge is hand made in the UK. Engineered for accurate and reliable readings the L5 is shipped with an inner copper collection can and separate plastic measure which is calibrated in millimetres and inches.
The instrument is made from a single copper sheet with soldered seams; the solid flat base providing good stability for ground mounting.It has a 125mm diameter opening to meet the Met Office standard of rain recording.
